When conversations are focused on changes in condition and the care of the patient, volunteers get to step in to talk about our patients’ greatest joys in life. Volunteers are able to focus on things our patients have accomplished, things they’re proud of, share their favorite stories, laugh and maybe cry together.
Ways to Get Involved
Volunteer with Patients
We have volunteers who work directly with our patients, providing companionship, caregiver relief, or assisting with small tasks.
Office Volunteers
We also have volunteers who assist in the office. They help put together paperwork, mail our bereavement letters, and much more.
Specialty Volunteers
We also have specialty volunteers who take their expertise and share it with patients. This includes certified therapy dogs and barbers.
