A chronic condition that occurs when the heart’s muscles weaken and can’t pump blood as well as they should. Can often cause blood to back up and/or fluid to build up in the lungs, causing shortness of breath.

A symptom of coronary artery disease that takes place when the heart doesn’t receive enough blood and oxygen.

Ischemic Heart Disease

Damage caused by poor blood flow to your heart.

Does VNA only treat heart failure patients?

Our service is called “cardiac services,” but the AHA focuses on heart failure, so that’s the overall umbrella under which we focus.

What can VNA provide patients with heart failure?

We can help with IV infusion of Inotropic medication, assist with left ventricular assisting devices (LVAD), provide comprehensive assessments and provide strategies for energy conservation through PT and OT.
