Does VNA provide the medications being administered?

Yes, but we are not ourselves the pharmacy, so medications need to come from another referral source once there’s an order from a physician. Any delays in care related to being able to access medications are on the pharmacy’s end.

Are VNA’s Registered Dietitians contracted or employees of VNA?

Unlike many home health agencies, our Registered Dietitians are our own employees, and for that reason can see a lot more engagement. This helps them work together with other service providers and share best practices across disciplines.
